‘Conduit’ is a double sided luminous archway standing 3 meters tall that invites visitors to participate physically with the artwork – to literally pass through light and emerge on the other side. The piece symbolises the passages we make throughout life, the boundaries we cross, and the illumination that guides us through transitions. The archway serves as both physical and metaphorical passage.
This piece draws inspiration from ancient threshold markers and spiritual gateways that exist across cultures. In my artistic practice, I explore connections between personal symbols and universal archetypes, and how routine movements (like walking through a doorway) can become sacred acts when given intention and attention.

'Futuristic yet ancient, the archway feels like a relic without a date. Approached with intention, Conduit argues that the act of stepping through a doorway becomes a ritual in itself'
